YCFA Organizer Support Fund

Financial support is a key part of a holistic and strategic youth movement. Too often youth organizers at the frontlines of the climate crisis with the lived experience needed to steer us toward vital climate solutions are overlooked and under-resourced in favor of more wealthy, privileged counterparts. On an individual level, this means students without the privilege of being able to devote substantial amounts of unpaid time to organizing are left out. On a movement level, it means student organizations sometimes lack the resources to realize the full potential of their campaigns.

In an effort to combat these tendencies, Campus Climate Network is proud to contribute to Youth Climate Finance Alliance’s (YCFA) Organizer Support Fund (OSF). Through the fund, individual youth organizers (ages 29 and under) and youth-led organizations (including CCN member groups!) can request small grants (averaging $250) to power their grassroots organizing.

More details about the OSF can be found in this short explainer and these fund guidelines. Complete the OSF application form to be considered for a microgrant. Applications are reviewed weekly with a flexible, rapid turnaround.
